| Notes: | The 386 SL was the first processor designed specifically for laptop use with built in power management features. Pity none of that is written on this item. Die contained is huge. Significantly larger then even the one in the early 386 keychain. What is really interesting about this is held next to a normal 386 you can see where in the 386 sl the processor itself sits. By volume this is much less than half of the die size. Line widths are consistent with 2nd gen 386 fabrication such as in the fancy 386 metal keychain I uploaded. |
