Intel C4040 groundstrap right complete board
Intel C4040 groundstrap right complete board |
Notes: | This is a complete processor card, dating back to December 1976/January 1977 (EPROM chips are dated December 13, 1976), built by european manufacturer Sauter. The card was the CPU of a point of sale/cash register machine, scrapped years ago for obsolescence.
On the card there are a nice Intel C4040 in "old style" white ceramic package, a C4289 standard memory interface, eight Intel's EPROMs B4702A, a P4201A clock generator, two 320-bit MOS RAM Intel P4002-1 in black plastic package and a Intel P2101 256x4 bit NMOS static RAM: a complete 4040 system.
The card is interesting because there are four different Intel package types on it, and for the rare (here in Europe) P2101 (the original, not the -A nor the -1 revision) in light grey plastic package. |
